Red Raspberry Tea
The red raspberry leaf has been used for thousands of years for its medicinal properties. It was even used as far back as ancient Greece and Rome. A few of the many illnesses and health issues raspberry leaf has been used to treat include diarrhea, fever, flu, gum disease, vomiting, hangovers, infertility, rubella, upset stomach, sore throats, menstrual problems, and general inflammation. Today, red raspberry leaf, (often in the form of tea or an infusion), is widely used as a mouth rinse to help reduce irritation or pain in the mouth or throat. Red raspberry leaf tea is also commonly used during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy. Many women report that it helps with the nausea associated with pregnancy as well as helping to reduce the pain and length of delivery.
