Blooming Teas

Blooming teas, (occasionally called flowering tea) originated in China. They tend to be small bundles or balls comprised of flowers and teas leaves tied using a cotton thread. When steeped in hot water, the little packages expand and open, much like a blossoming flower. They are a wonderful indulgence for teas drinkers and can be a great hit at any dinner party or get together. But they’re just as beautiful when enjoyed on your own as well. They add a little bit of magic back into the art of drinking tea.

Green tea, white tea, and black tea can all be used to create a blooming tea and a variety of different flowers are used as well.
